The 62.8 series is driven by a stepper motor and is able to control the pressure in a range from < 1 x 10-8 mbar to 3 bar at any level to a very fine degree.
The flow characteristic from the initial opening to full conductance can be fully controlled at any pressure level making the 62.8 series outstanding in its operational range, providing just one valve solution where normally several different valves would be needed.
The series also provides unprecedented controllability. The special isolation and controlling system of the 62.8 – a needle and plate mechanism allow very smooth opening characteristics that avoid any pressure change peaks even at very low conductance.
The chosen flow characteristic can be defined via a fixed setting or they can be operated in a dynamic setting where the 62.8 is connected via its controller to a pressure sensor in the process.
Due to its O-ring sealed feedthrough the number of dynamic seals is limited to just the plate seal, increasing the valve reliability and availability by reducing servicing needs. Tested in many of demanding applications under various process conditions, the 62.8 series has proven its outstanding performance.
DN 16
The 62.8 HV Gas Dosing Valve is available in stainless steel with ISO-KF for DN 16. The standard bonnet seal is FKM but the material can be adjusted if special applications are requiring this.
With the Control Performance Analyzer a software to be run on any PC, laptop or tablet the 62.8 performance can easily be monitored and analyses to adjust the valve settings to the required process parameters.
